Pedra Branca State Park

The name of the massif is attributed to the white colored limestone formation, which is present on the site, hence the name 'Pedra Branca'. The Park covers a large set of hills and rocky shores that form the various mountain ranges of the massif, which provide unique and majestic landscapes in each region surrounding the park itself.
Its geographical location, together with its geomorphological characteristics, provide visitors with several privileged vantage points in the city, it also houses numerous springs, rivers and streams that run through the land, forming unique landscapes with wells and waterfalls.
