Casa São Conrado - Since 2001

Casa São Conrado Student & Guest House has a reception structure adapted to host master's and doctoral students at the Pontifical Catholic University (PUC) of Rio de Janeiro. This also allows us to offer interesting accommodation rates for professionals, tourists and backpackers.

The simple but comfortably furnished rooms can be rented on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The value of the rent includes the use of all services of the house: water, gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, kitchen, washing machine, swimming pool .... The rooms are not equipped with TV and mini bar.

The rooms are single, double, or shared by up to four or on demand even five persons, with single or double beds and private or shared bathroom. Room prices vary according to comfort level and size.

Casa São Conrado offers you everything you need to feel at home. We have a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerators and a pantry to store the meats, fresh vegetables and exotic fruits that you can buy in the neighborhood stores or street markets and you can prepare your own breakfast and meals according to your fancy.

Guests also choose Casa São Conrado as a base camp in Rio when they venture for a trip deeper in the Brazilian inner country and want to store the excess baggage they will not need for these destinations.  

You will discover that Casa São Conrado is a wonderful place to stay, that promotes friendly contacts between people and has the character of a rural property with a lot of natural beauty, although located in the center of the urban area between two main poles of Rio de Janeiro: Barra da Tijuca on one side and the traditional areas of Gávea, Leblon and Ipanema on the other.
