Jeribucaçu beach - Itacaré, Bahia

Jeribucaçu beach is one of the jewels of Bahia, around Itacaré. Beyond its beauty, this beach offers good waves for surfing during the Brazilian winter, as well as paths with breathtaking views along the coconut palms. There are several ways to get there, but the nicest is the hike after the waterfall "Cachoeira da Usina", where it's better to be accompanied by a guide. This trail combines forest, river and ocean, taking you through mangroves and promising an exceptional view on arrival. Where the river meets the ocean is a special feature of this magical place. If you're traveling to Itacaré in the state of Bahia, this beach is a must !
