A hike in Pedra do Elefante

The Pedra do Elefante de Teresópolis, 1,180 meters high, is located in the municipality of Guapimirim, near the Mirante do Soberbo, bordering the municipality of Teresópolis. It is very easy to get to the beginning of the trail. Just go to the Mirante do Soberbo, take the BR 116 and find the Parque Estadual dos Três Picos sign. It takes an average of 40 minutes to reach the main view. Even if the trail is not marked and well marked, there is a low risk of getting lost, and at the end of the week you will find a lot of hikers!
You can have a good time contemplating the beautiful view of the Serra dos Órgãos. After passing the rope point, walk for about five minutes until you reach the main view.
It's a hike not to be missed near Teresópolis!
