Located in the south of the state of São Paulo, the Parque Estadual Caverna do Diabo extends over the municipalities of Barra do Turvo, Cajati, Eldorado and Iporanga. Created in 2008, it is part of the Jacupiranga Conservation Mosaic and protects important fragments of the Mata Atlântica from the southern coast of the state.
The main tourist attraction is its impressive cave system, including the famous Caverna do Diabo, 6 kilometres long, of which only 600 metres are open to the public with a secure lighting system. The park is also home to endangered species such as the mico-leão-de-cara-preta and the jaguar, offering visitors a unique experience combining spectacular geology and exceptional biodiversity.
