Baré Connection
To ensure everyone's safety, physical travel to the partner indigenous community has been suspended since March 2020, with the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil.
Seeking to support the Baré and keep us active in this challenging period of the pandemic, we decided to develop an innovative experience!
THE BARÉ CONNECTION
A TRIP THAT IS:

IMMERSIVE: You will disembark (virtually) in an Amazonian indigenous community, from the Baré ethnic group, and experience the daily life of the peoples of the forest.

INTERACTIVE: You will have the possibility to interact, in real time, with those who were born and raised in the Amazon, listen to their stories, ask questions, chat and clear up your doubts.

AND ONLINE: You will connect to the internet to participate in the live experience through a video calling platform.
HOW DOES THE BARÉ CONNECTION HAPPEN?

Pre boarding
Days before departure, you will receive various materials to immerse you in the local culture, which will “teleport” you to the Amazon and prepare you for the trip.

check-in
On the scheduled day and time, the group of travelers will access the videoconference platform, through their devices, to check in and introduce themselves.

the experience
After flying over the forest, passing through Manaus and navigating the Negro and Cuieiras rivers, we will connect with our indigenous hosts and begin our immersion in the community.
