On September 25, 2022, casa São Conrado opened its doors for a superb event : Sofia's 15th birthday party !
Well-known throughout Latin America, this celebration is also very important in Brazil. Typically, parents save up for many years to give their daughters a big 15th birthday party, or even a trip. It's a passage from childhood to womanhood, with a very special ceremony, a big party and a particular ritual. The young woman chooses a dress, a place and food. When the celebration begins, 15 couples of friends enter first with a candle, representing each year of life. The young woman enters as a couple (often with her father) and blows out the candles, then it's time to celebrate and dance.
Sofia's family chose our casa São Conrado for their party. Together, we decorated and furnished the house to make it a memorable celebration for her, her family and her friends. We arranged the delicious food on the table next to the pool, and created a friendly space by playing with the lights. As a result, about forty people attended the event. The guests arrived in the late afternoon of Sunday September 25 and stayed until midnight, bringing the house to life with a superb atmosphere !
